Paris, City of Light
Paris, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, the most visited, and probably the most romantic of populating the planet, lives up to its reputation and not disappoint anyone who comes to visit, but rather when leaving the traveler feels like to go, and regrets not having more time (or money) to return immediately or stay longer in a magical city, with a special charm that is felt in every corner, every square, or simply each of its cafes.
Unlike other large European cities, Paris does not have a “center” defined around which the city expands, Paris is quite the “center”, and this is because Paris has been absorbing the small towns that were their suburbs, but these have maintained their independence despite the administrative boundary between one of these small towns and big city of Paris is just a crosswalk. This fact remain “locked” a while ago that all Paris has an antique look and classic, and a walk through Paris a walk in a place where time seems to exist, where despite the bustle and motion of a major cities of the world, visitors will have the feeling of being in a place that has not changed for decades or even centuries.
The nickname “City of Light” because Paris was the first city to equip its streets and buildings of electricity, which caused worldwide admiration, although this name could also well be due to France and in particular Paris, has also been the light of the world and the city ahead of its time as shown by the fact that here were forged human rights and the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity, principles that still are not present in many parts of the world.
