Go to Paris by Air : Paris Airports

The plane is definitely the fastest means of transport and comfortable we can use to get to Paris. In Paris there are two main airports, the Charlles de Gaulle, also known as Roissy, and located north of Paris and Orly airport, located in the south, both made by different terminals.
As to which is better … matter of taste, the end of the day all the choice will depend on where in Paris we stayed, but if we are in the middle will give us a bit the same, although some travel agencies are determined to tell sometimes one or the other we are best when at most difference in terms of time between one or the other is only 10 minutes by RER if we choose as a means of transportation in Paris.

Once at the airport, and regardless of the terminal where we are, we have different options to go to Paris, bus, taxi (cost around 30-35 €, which is profitable economically if 3 the people get it) or RER:
For the bus there are several options, because we can take the Royssibus that leaves us in Opera, or Air France coaches leave us in different parts of the city and Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse, Arc de Triomphe and the Porte Maillot, in western Paris.
As for the RER, the line going to and to / from the airport, the RER B, passing through places such as central Châtelet Les Halles or Saint Michel, near the Latin Quarter and Notre-Dame. The main advantage of the RER is that there are no traffic jams, and if we have to transfer to the subway on the same ticket we better without buying a new one. Read the rest of this entry »
